Alison Cole is the publisher of Australian Yoga Journal. As Publisher, Alison is responsible for working with the sales team to sell the advertising for the magazine and associated digital assets. In addition, she is responsible for marketing and sponsorship initiatives as well as events and client integration. Additionally, she operates as CFO of Contact Media. Since obtaining Yoga Journal over three years she has grown advertising sales and increased market share.
Alison began her career as a public relations media professional. Her eclectic media experience encompasses public relations, sales and marketing, event management, advertising sales, sponsorship, journalism and media liaison. Over the years Alison has amassed a broad and influential array of contacts. She is dedicated to her work and well as her her and Todd’s three teenage children.
Before the foray into publishing, Alison’s clients have included: CanTeen Australia, Hamilton Island, Great Keppel Island, Aqualung, The Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW) and Tropfest.
Todd is an experienced publishing executive, with extensive experience in developing magazine print businesses as well as app and web development and integration. He’s skilled in journalism, media relations, publicity, marketing, web editing and design, as well as digital marketing. Having launched five print magazines and websites and numerous apps as well as serving in elite Special Forces Todd likes to think of himself as a rarity in the publishing community: a publishing entrepreneur with a killer attitude. He’s open to new opportunities, partnerships and connections.
